The Little One Comes Down the Mountain and Turns Her Family’s Luck Around
Translator: Mea
Four-and-a-half-year-old Hua Yu is sent down the mountain by her master to find a ready-made dad who can support her. Along the way, she picks up a smelly rag that can talk—none other than Prince Xie Changheng, who is plagued by terrible luck. To ensure she has food to eat, Hua Yu acknowledges him as her father and casually devours the black aura clinging to him, unexpectedly turning his luck around. After tagging along back to the capital, she discovers that the entire prince's estate is shrouded in black aura and curses. The heir lies unconscious, the second son spends his days in a wheelchair, and the princess-consort is frail and constantly ill. While clutching a roast chicken and eating to her heart's content, Hua Yu secretly swallows the bad luck and breaks the curses, becoming the estate's human bad-luck purifier. But this family's misfortunes may not be Heaven's doing after all. Someone may have been orchestrating a much larger scheme behind the scenes.
